Chelsea Elementary School

Dear Parents,

I would like to welcome everyone to the new school year and hope that your children have enjoyed their return to class! It is wonderful to see them after the long shut down.

The school’s focus continues to be on the whole child, emphasizing development in
both academic and social-emotional domains. The students are already demonstrating
their resilience and adaptability as they adjust to the changes at school. Open
communication and collaboration between home and school is very important; please reach out to your child’s teacher or the administration at any point if you have questions or concerns.

Chelsea Elementary explores and celebrates monthly values. Every month, students
from each class will be recognized for demonstrating the monthly value during a
school-wide Chelsea Stars Assembly. This September we are exploring the value of
RESPECT.

The staff at Chelsea Elementary is a truly inspiring group of educators. I am pleased to welcome back our teaching and support staff. New to the team this year is Ms. Isabelle Gagnon (FSL, grade 3 /4 homeroom), Ms. Kelly Butler (grade 3 homeroom) and Mr. Lucas Brown (grade 4 homeroom). We are pleased to welcome back Mr. Matt McIntyre (grade 6 homeroom) and Ms. Kaitlin Butler, who has moved into The Centre.
Ms. Devon Gable (grade 6) will continue to support administrative duties as staff assistant.

with you throughout the year to help your child(ren) have a rewarding and enriching school year!
